Abbey Powell, MSN, FNP-C
With a passion for patient-centered care and holistic well-being, Abbey brings over 10 years of experience in healthcare to the Happy Health and Wellness team. As a board-certied Nurse Practitioner, Abbey specializes in empowering individuals to take control of their health through personalized care plans, preventative strategies, and integrative practices. With a deep belief in the connection between body, mind, and spirit, she takes a whole-body approach to wellness. Abbey earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belmont University and her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on family medicine from Lincoln Memorial University. Over the course of her career, she has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including a cardiothoracic specialty unit, medical critical care at a Level 1 trauma center, post-anesthesia recovery, and chronic pain management. This diverse experience has provided her with a profound understanding of patient care and a versatile skill set, which she now applies to guide patients on their wellness journeys. At Happy Health and Wellness, Abbey collaborates closely with patients to develop sustainable health strategies that emphasize nutrition, stress management, exercise, and restorative sleep. Her approach integrates evidence-based medical practices with holistic wellness techniques, empowering individuals to make informed decisions that promote long-term health and vitality. Outside of her clinical work, Abbey enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
