Meet Our Providers

Erin Nelson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women (2013) and holds certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

 

At Happy Health and Wellness, Erin is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families. She believes in a proactive and holistic approach to health—supporting not only physical well-being but also emotional and lifestyle balance. Her mission is to help patients optimize their overall function and wellness by going beyond symptom management to uncover root causes and create personalized, sustainable health plans.

 

Outside the clinic, Erin enjoys spending time outdoors and finds peace in hiking, reading, and connecting with nature. She and her husband share a busy, blended family of seven children, which keeps life full of love, laughter, and activity.

Michelle is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 34 years of nursing experience, including six years in advanced practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has many experience in women’s health and primary care, and is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care to patients of all ages.

 

In addition to her clinical work, Michelle is a nursing instructor at West Texas A&M University, where she teaches in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. She enjoys mentoring future nurses and helping them develop the confidence and skills needed to provide excellent patient care. Michelle believes in building meaningful relationships with her patients and empowering them to take an active role in their health and wellness. She strives to create a supportive, trusting environment where patients feel heard and valued.

 

Outside of work, Michelle has been married to her husband, Derek, for 34 years. Together, they have four children, three grandchildren, and one more on the way! She loves spending time with her family, traveling, playing tennis, and taking walks with her two Bernedoodles.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any necessary paperwork.

What to Bring

Bring a valid ID, insurance card, and a list of current medications. New patients should bring referral documents if applicable.

Payment & Insurance

We accept most major insurance plans. Copays and self-pay fees are due at the time of service.
